Rannieri Oliveira

Was born in Recife – PE. He began his musical studies at the age of five at the Pernambuco Music Conservatory where he studied piano and popular guitar.

At 15 years of age he studied in harmony with Professor José Gomes at the Pernambucano Conservatory. With 18, he attended the extension of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) acquiring experience. Very young, with her vast experience, she gave lessons and workshops on harmony and improvisation based on the Berklee course at colleges and music courses in the Northeast.

In 1995 he joined regional groups with which he toured Brazil and Europe. Also recorded with Nana Vasconcelos, Andy Potter, Spok Frevo, Paulo Russo and other names of Brazilian music. Rannieri Oliveira has toured with Elba Ramalho, Nana Vasconcelos and André Rio, Spok Frevo, Lenine and Moraes Moreira at various European festivals such as the Tubingen Festival in Germany and the Latin American Festival in Milan.

Rannieri had extensive international experience in France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Macedonia, and Argentina in 2000 and 2001. He participated in the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. He is a composer, producer and instrumentalist. In 2004 he did shows and workshops alongside bassist Arthur Maia. In 2005 he played with trumpeter Marcio Montarroys. In the area of classical music he presented himself as a soloist in repair with the symphonic band of Recife.

In 2006/2007 won the prize of the Frevo Festival of Recife with the composition exporão of rooster and arrangements of the master Spok. On May 21, 2007 he moved to the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro, where he acts as a music producer at the Sonora Base. He has done several works to add to his advertising side. He works on TV Record as a track arranger. He is active in the music business as arranger and composer, as well as acting in the political area as arranger, programmer and composer. He participated in the special in honor of Chacrinha in Por Toda Minha Vida and Som Brasil (Rede Globo) with singer Alceu Valença.

He shared the stage with the wonderful Ellen de Lima, Phoenix, George Israel, Adriana BB, Cláudio Lins, Daniel Gonzaga, Ney Mato Grosso, Rodrigo Almeida, Rita Ribeiro, Bena Lobo, Ana Coista, Derico Sciotti, Eliana Prints, Marina Lima, Tony Garrido, Fátima Guedes and opened the show of singer Joss Stone with the band Duguettu in Viva Rio.

Nowadays Rannieri Oliveira acts as keyboard player for artists Ed Motta, Preta Gil, Davi Moraes and Moraes Moreira.
